Shiva Blast

The season is over for a third of Shiva coaches and as our stats will show, there were some heartbreakers this week. But this upcoming round is when it all counts - money, promotion and pride are on the line for the coaches in the mix and when stars are falling over across the league, the heat is turning up. Wipe those sweaty brows ahead of this week’s prelim final edition of the SHIVA BLAST!

After 17 rounds of Shiva action, it is decided! The final 6 are set in each Division and the finals are here. Can those who have enjoyed a blessed run throughout the year stick the landing in the last few weeks, or will early retirements and a multitude of season ending injuries derail even the best of squads. It’s a race to the finals finish line now as divisions throughout the competition feel the squeeze for the Top 2 and Top 6 positions. But there’s other prizes to be won too - money for overall top scorer, for each league’s minor premier and for our Knockout Champion who we’ll crown. The heat is on for the SHIVA BLAST!

It doesn’t matter HOW you get there, as long as you get there. Clutch draws, lucky wins, progressing into the knockout final with a sub 1400 score. It doesn’t matter HOW you get there as long as you get there. We’ll see how you fared and look at some huge competition-wide results as we edge nearer to the finals on the SHIVA BLAST!

It’s that awful time of year. 3 weeks before fantasy finals. Everything in alignment and then an injury here, a suspension there, another injury there, ANOTHER FUCKING INJURY and before you know it things start to fall apart. Maybe it’s you, maybe it’s your opponent - just pray that Shiva shines on you. We’ll assess this week’s damage on the latest SHIVA BLAST!

What Shiva can giveth, Shiva can taketh away. It’s a sobering lesson that we are reminded of in some rounds and Round 17 was no exception. Shiva's back in action after a month off and with only 5 rounds now to finals and 16 Coaches remaining in the Knockout there's plenty of action to be had. The mid-season lull that is the byes is over and SHIVA IS BACK! In a pod short on stats (we've had no fantasy games to cover!) we cast the magnifying glass over Div 1 and who might be in the running to claim Shiva's most prestigious crown.
